We are currently seeking a Permanent Cardiac Sonographer who is eager to leverage their skills and experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. This role involves working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and monitor heart conditions. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for:
1. Conducting echocardiogram tests to assess cardiac function and providing preliminary interpretations of the results.
2. Assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of heart conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and congenital heart defects.
3. Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
4. Ensuring that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.
5. Providing patient education regarding cardiac imaging procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
6. Keeping accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, medical histories, and treatment plans.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac imaging technology and procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Cardiac Sonographer position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, Cardiographer, or Echo Tech.
2. CCI Credentialed in Cardiac or ARDMS (RDCS, RVT)
3. Proficient in echocardiogram procedures and interpretation.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret test results and identify potential issues.
6. A compassionate and patient-focused approach, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels.
