Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and NCCCO-certified Crane Operator to join our team for an upcoming project in North Carolina. The operator will be responsible for safely operating heavy lifting equipment on public jobsites in compliance with state and federal regulations.
The primary equipment for this project will be a Link-Belt 238HSL or a similar 110–150 ton crawler crane.
Responsibilities:
Operate crawler crane (110–150 ton capacity) in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
Safely lift, move, and place materials as directed by site supervision and lift plans.
Work closely with riggers, signal persons, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, NCCCO, and jobsite safety requirements.
Requirements:
Current NCCCO Certification to operate crawler cranes.
Demonstrated experience operating large crawler cranes on public jobsites.
Strong knowledge of lift planning, load charts, and safe rigging practices.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols.
Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Link-Belt 238HSL or similar models.
Previous work on DOT or public infrastructure projects in North Carolina.
