We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. The RNFA will play a crucial role in the success of surgeries and patient care by working alongside surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the operating room. This position is permanent and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse First Assist, your primary duties will include:

1. Assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and care.
2. Providing preoperative and postoperative patient care, including monitoring vital signs, wound care, and patient education.
3. Collaborating with the surgical team to prepare the operating room, including sterilizing instruments, preparing surgical equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
4. Acting as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families, providing updates and information about the patient's status and progress.
5. Participating in patient evaluations, creating care plans, and making recommendations for post-surgical care.
6. Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including surgical notes and reports.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest nursing best practices, surgical techniques, and medical equipment.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse First Assist position will have the following qualifications:

1. An active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse First Assist, Certified Surgical First Assistant, or Operating Room Registered Nurse.
3. Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
4. Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures, patient care, and nursing best practices.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. The ability to handle a high-stress, fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and patient care.
8. BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
