We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our vibrant team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial operations. This position requires a strong understanding of complex accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
As a CPA, your primary duties will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
3. Coordinating and executing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
4. Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
5. Providing exceptional client service, addressing and resolving financial inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
6. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
7. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations, and preparing and filing tax returns.
8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
9. Participating in special projects and implementing financial systems and processes improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree is a plus.
2. A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
4. Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end and year-end processes.
5. A proven track record of managing a wide range of financial responsibilities, including complex accounting activities.
6. Exceptional client-facing skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with accounting software.
10. A strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
11. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. A high degree of professionalism and a strong ethical code.
