Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFO to lead and oversee all financial activities across our organization and affiliated clinics. This executive leadership role is critical to ensuring sound financial governance, operational excellence, and strategic financial planning. The CFO will serve as the chief financial advisor to the hospital and collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial administration, accounting, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, patient accounting, IT, dietary services, and materials management.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
  • Develop budgets, analyze financial statements, and drive strategies to reduce costs and optimize revenue.
  • Evaluate investment decisions, coordinate grant management, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Direct contract negotiations and insurance portfolio management.
  • Supervise and develop finance and support teams, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate in strategic planning, market expansion, and leadership initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in board meetings, community engagements, and business development efforts.
  • Participate in the on-call Administrator rotation and provide operational support as needed.

Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in hospital care revenue cycle management.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, but not required.

Preferred Skills & Competencies
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong understanding of healthcare finance.
  • Effective leadership and people management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting systems, regulatory compliance, and third-party reimbursements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with grants, contract negotiation, and insurance management.
