This position will oversee three entities that all work together. We operate in half the state of Florida currently. This business is heavy inventory management. All three these companies have mostly the same customer base. All companies work out of the same office. We have a laid back atmosphere.

Description
Ideal candidates have strong communication, financial analytical skills and work ethic. CFO will work collaboratively with the owner and COO while overseeing company financial growth, discuss practices for the company’s finances as well as creating strategic financial plans to improve the company’s overall financial health.. This is a senior level management position requiring honesty and integrity. There will be an expectation to hit the ground running to get the businesses where the CEO needs them. There is a lot of clean up and controls to be put in place to set up the business properly in a short amount of time. This is a position that qualifies for equity/ profit sharing. The position prepares and reviews weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, cash flow, profitability, forecasting, preparing and monitoring the budgeting process identifying investment opportunities and implement financial initiatives company-wide. Candidates will make it their mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. You will produce thorough financial-status reports for the owner and COO to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth. Use their experience in financial planning to increase shareholder value.
Expectations:
  • There will be an expectation to hit the ground running to get the businesses where the CEO needs them. There is a lot of clean up and controls to be put in place to set up the business properly in a short amount of time. This is a position that qualifies for equity/ profit sharing.
  • Oversees and holds authority, of the organizations financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the goals of the company
  • Prepare and analyze all necessary financial reports weekly/monthly/quarterly and schedules meeting with owner to review
  • Can manage having financial leadership
  • Approves financial contracts, actively assisting with negotiations incorporating total financial risk
  • Directs financial planning incorporating all relevant financial and operational impacts
  • Works with Accounting and Audit consulting firm on annual audit, share price and financial planning
  • Prepares and reviews forecasts along business units, multiple joint ventures, and corporate consolidations to actual and budget to actual expenses;
  • Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current accounting and financial methods and procedures;
  • Responsible for the company's annual business plan, 18-month cash flow analysis, 24 month rolling business plan, and the actual vs. projected analysis for all planning. Oversee and manage the development of one, two, and three-year operating plans.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate financial operating results to provide information to Sr. Leadership, Divisional teams, and external partners.
  • Management of company taxes –including annual income tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and real estate taxes on owned land.
  • Management of the company’s cash flow programs.
  • Projecting financial forecasts and the forecasting of local/national/global economic conditions
  • Develop and promote a framework to drive financial accountability across the organization; provide timely and meaningful analyses and reporting to operational leaders.

  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
  • Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
  • In conjunction with the owners, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
  • Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
The day-to-day duties of these professionals include:
  • Maximizing profits while mitigating financial risks and losses.
  • Managing investment portfolios and conducting audits. Supporting expansion by raising capital or taking a private company public.
  • Developing financial strategies for mergers or acquisitions.
  • Analyzing market trends and generating economic forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulating agencies.
  • Recording of company-wide transactions.
  • Reporting on expenditure and projections.
