Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and IT team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be a strategic business partner and play a key role in the company's financial future. The CFO will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, budgeting, strategic financial planning, tax planning, and forecasting and ALL IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting team.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support the growth of the company.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting and ensure its accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
• Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
• Manage and coordinate all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
• Coordinate tax planning processes and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies, and regulatory action.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA designation is ideal however 15 years of high level financial management with families in lieu will be acceptable
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes.
• Experience with strategic and financial planning including the ability to apply these in a strategic and/or operational context.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
