Our dynamic construction company is in search of a seasoned Permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a strong background in financial management. The CFO will be responsible for managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The individual will also be responsible for forecasting, cash flow management, and cost accounting. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the candidate will be instrumental in shaping our financial strategy and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the company's business goals.
2. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
3. Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to the Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
4. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
5. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
6. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
7. Proficiency in MAS 90 financial software to streamline and automate financial processes.
8. Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
9. Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
10. Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
11. Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
12. Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA, CMA, or other related certification is a plus.
2. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role.
3. Proven experience in executive leadership positions.
4. In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. MAS 90).
7. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
8. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
9. Excellent communication and people skills.
10. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
11. Prior experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
