The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing capital investment projects, implementing continuous improvement strategies and process improvements, and ensuring efficient production operations. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage capital investment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in the production process.
- Utilize DCS (Distributed Control Systems) for process control, data collection, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to address these issues.
- Oversee production operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze production performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate these into the company's operations where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience managing capital investment projects.
- Strong knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
- Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies and process improvements.
- Solid understanding of production operations and processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
