We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chemical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing capital investment projects, implementing continuous improvement strategies and process improvements, and ensuring efficient production operations. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capital investment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in the production process.
  • Utilize DCS (Distributed Control Systems) for process control, data collection, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to address these issues.
  • Oversee production operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate these into the company's operations where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience managing capital investment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies and process improvements.
  • Solid understanding of production operations and processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
