We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about applying their knowledge of chemical engineering principles, chemical processes, and manufacturing in the sales industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovative thinking and problem-solving skills are highly valued. The candidate will work closely with various teams to optimize processes, improve product quality, and drive operational efficiencies. Responsibilities:
1. Apply chemical engineering principles to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes and operations.
2. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet these needs.
3. Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
4. Design and plan the layout of equipment.
5. Conduct tests and monitor the performance of processes throughout production.
6. Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes.
7. Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
8. Estimate production costs for management.
9. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize production processes.
10. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sales industry.
3. Strong understanding of chemical processes, manufacturing, engineering, oil and gas, and industrial sectors.
4. Proven ability to solve complex problems using engineering principles.
5. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in using software applications relevant to this role.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
10. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the chemical industry.
11. Ability to travel as needed.
12. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
