MUST HAVES:

• Method development for mass spectrometry and GC (Gas Chromatography)
• Sample preparation and cleanup
• General method development
• Focus on method development instead of production

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Ph.D or Masters in Analytical Chemistry

NICE-TO-HAVES:

• Data Management and reporting
• Team Management

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide project planning, resource planning, budget generation, and performance to budget
• Demonstrate technical expertise by spearheading method and application development.
• Candidates with active security clearance or the ability to obtain one are preferred
• Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation for applications.
• Test planning and reporting
• Uphold quality standards and analyze data generated by fellow chemists and engineers.
• Troubleshoot and optimize methods for customer applications
• Engage in collaborative efforts with engineers to enhance instrument design and functionality.
• Prepare standards, dilutions, and samples.
