Are you an experienced financial professional with a passion for leading and driving financial strategies? We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the senior executive team. You will be instrumental in planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company, including strategic planning, business planning and budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiations.

Responsibilities:
As the Chief Financial Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall objectives.
2. Overseeing, directing, and organizing the work of the finance and operations teams.
3. Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
4. Managing the company's financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
5. Implementing SOPs within the finance department to ensure smooth operation and consistent results.
6. Overseeing the company's transaction processing systems and implementing operational best practices.
7. Directing all aspects of purchasing, cost centers, and change management to enhance business processes and increase company profitability.
8. Coordinating with construction teams to ensure financial efficiency in all projects.
9. Providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
10. Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and developing teams.
4. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
5. Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Experience with purchasing, cost centers, SOPs, Change Management, leadership, and construction is required.
