Our company is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a vital role in influencing company strategy, providing financial leadership, and driving business growth. Responsibilities:
As the CFO, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements.
3. Managing the month-end and quarter-end close process efficiently and accurately.
4. Developing and maintaining robust internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
5. Leading internal and external audits, ensuring all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
6. Implementing effective risk management strategies and processes.
7. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
8. Evaluating and advising on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory action.
9. Enhancing and/or developing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
10. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of CFO, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the financial services industry.
2. CPA certification is preferred.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with US GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX requirements, and financial reporting.
4. Proven experience in managing month-end and quarter-end close, internal and external audits, and risk management.
5. Strong understanding of financial strategies and finance-related performance metrics.
6. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
