Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
2. Manage the preparation of all financial reports and present findings and recommendations to the CEO and other senior executives.
3. Oversee and manage the company's financial and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
5. Implement and manage the application of ASC 606 standards across the organization.
6. Work closely with other senior executives to identify new business opportunities and to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Evaluate the company's financial performance and profitability and identify potential areas for improvement.
8. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
9. Ensure all financial operations are carried out in compliance with legal and company standards.
10. Lead, manage, and develop the financial team to enhance performance by setting clear accountable performance measures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or similar is preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the construction and/or engineering industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
5. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting, financial risk management, and corporate financial law.
6. Hands-on experience with financial and accounting software.
7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
8. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
9. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
10. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
11. Demonstrable experience with ASC 606, Financials, Forecasting, and Financial Management.
