Job Details:
Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our executive team. The CMO will play a critical role in shaping the future of our healthcare services, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, clinical leadership, and medical management. The CMO will be responsible for overseeing all medical activities, including the management of our staff of physicians and ensuring the successful operation of all clinical programs. This is a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and expertise for our medical team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
2. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure that all medical services comply with the latest research findings and regulatory requirements.
3. Oversee the quality improvement initiatives to drive the standard of healthcare services.
4. Collaborate with the executive team to set the overall strategy and goals for our healthcare services.
5. Serve as a liaison between the medical staff and the executive management, facilitating communication and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
6. Monitor and evaluate the latest medical research, trends, and regulatory developments to ensure our medical services remain at the forefront of the healthcare industry.
7. Ensure the successful operation of all clinical programs, including patient safety, patient satisfaction, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance.
8. Represent the organization in professional and community forums to enhance its visibility and reputation in the healthcare community.

Qualifications:

1. Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer, or in a similar leadership role in a healthcare setting.
3. Proven experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is highly preferred.
4. Board certification in a recognized specialty and an active medical license.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of medical regulations and healthcare administration.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and foster a positive working environment.
8. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clinical strategies and procedures that improve patient care and outcomes.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and statistics.
10. Commitment to the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
