Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers in various projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, providing regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Oversee the engineering design process, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary requirements and standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to come up with new ideas and solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning them with the overall goals of the company.
  • Ensure that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or higher will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the Upfitting & vehicle customization industry, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design processes, project management, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
