We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in strategic planning, multi-site retail operations, and executive leadership. The COO will be responsible for driving the company's strategic initiatives and ensuring our operations align with our business goals. Responsibilities:
As our COO, your tasks will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that they align with our strategic goals and objectives.
2. Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to promote company culture and vision.
3. Collaborating with the CEO to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
4. Driving performance measures for the operation (including a consideration of efficiency and productivity).
5. Managing relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
6. Overseeing all operational activities for the organization.
7. Identifying opportunities for expansion and lead efforts towards business development.
8. Directing operational strategy and planning and identify measures of success.
9. Partnering with the management team to implement plans and policies.
10. Leading and motivating teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or equivalent role with at least 5+ years of experience in a senior management position.
2. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and business development.
3. Experience in managing operations in a multi-site retail environment.
4. Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, and IT.
5. Exceptional leadership abilities with a hands-on approach and lead by example style.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
8. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
9. A deep understanding of financial strategies and finance-related performance metrics.
10. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
