We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Consulting Citrix Administrator to join our growing team in the Tech Services industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about technology and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Citrix environment, ensuring its optimal performance and security. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Citrix technologies and endpoint configurations.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement, maintain, and manage the Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
2. Conduct regular system audits, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
3. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement efficient and secure system architecture.
4. Provide technical support for Citrix systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
5. Develop and maintain documentation on Citrix processes, protocols, and configurations.
6. Conduct regular training sessions for IT staff and end-users on Citrix technologies and best practices.
7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Citrix and endpoint configurations.
8. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
9. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Citrix Administrator or in a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and others.
4. Proven experience with endpoint configurations.
5. Strong understanding of network protocols, server hardware, and virtualization.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Up-to-date technical knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Certifications such as Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE), or Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) are a plus.
