We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Civil CAD Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to apply their expertise in developing detailed drawings and designs for civil engineering projects. As a Permanent Civil CAD Designer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including drawing sequence, project site drawings, translating mark-up drawings, checking plot drawings, layout framing on projects, grading surface modeling, site design, determining earthwork volumes, and reading construction drawings. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
2. Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
3. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting project designs and procedures.
4. Translate mark-up drawings into CAD drawings and check plot drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Layout framing on projects and conduct grading surface modeling to assist with project planning and execution.
6. Participate in site design and determine earthwork volumes as required.
7. Read and interpret construction drawings, ensuring all designs align with project requirements and industry standards.
8. Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
9. Confer with the engineering team to interpret design concepts and produce final construction drawings.
10. Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminologies and documentation to aid in project completion and future designs.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil CAD Designer or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Advanced proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of civil engineering concepts.
3. Exceptional technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for thinking creatively in complex situations.
6. Ability to interpret mark-up drawings and translate them into CAD drawings accurately.
7. Proficient in layout framing on projects, grading surface modeling, and site design.
8. Solid understanding of how to determine earthwork volumes and read construction drawings.
9. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
10. Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
