Job Details
As a Civil Defense Attorney, your main duties will include:
1. Representing our clients in court and making appearances on their behalf.
2. Conducting depositions and gathering all necessary information for the case.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Developing strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
5. Providing legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations.
6. Negotiating settlements to resolve civil disputes in the best interest of our clients.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest legal developments and changes to stay ahead of the curve.
8. Collaborating with legal staff and sharing your expertise and knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Defense Attorney.
3. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
4. Proven experience conducting depositions and handling civil defense cases.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and disputes effectively.
8. The ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
