Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Lateral Civil Defense Attorney to join our established litigation team in San Antonio.
Job Description:
* Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense matters, including personal injury, premises liability, construction, and insurance disputes
* Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial and appeal
* Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
* Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
* Provide clients with proactive risk assessment, strategic advice, and clear communication
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver efficient and effective representation
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active Texas bar license in good standing
* 3+ years of civil defense litigation experience preferred
* Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
* Trial experience is a plus but not required
