Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
2. Representing clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims.
3. Working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
4. Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
5. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
6. Drafting pleadings, motions, memorandums, briefs, and other court documents.
7. Working with clients and other firm members to investigate facts and law of cases and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.
4. Proven background in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, legal writing, and drafting motions.
5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
