We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Civil Designer to join our fast-paced and growing Construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, construction drawings, land development, site plans, civil site design, and civil engineering design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring all designs meet the required standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
2. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to create detailed designs and plans for civil engineering projects.
3. Work closely with engineers and project managers to design and draft infrastructure for land development projects.
4. Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
5. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and detailed construction drawings.
6. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Minimum of three years of experience in civil design, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a must.
4. Experience in creating construction drawings, site plans, and residential designs.
5. Strong knowledge of civil site design and land development.
