Job Details
Provide engineering support.
Assists in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
Applies knowledge and techniques to the solution of basic analytical problems.
Follows established/standard policies and procedures on details of work and makes preliminary selections and adaptations of alternatives.
Performing a variety of tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the staff, methods and practices.
Assist and manage in civil engineering projects in Alabama and/or the Southeast United States
Perform pre-design, programming, and feasibility studies.
Review and extract relevant information from topographic surveys and maps, as-built drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
Prepare engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
Comply with relevant federal, state, and local codes and standards.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as needed.
