Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake design and modeling tasks using Civil 3D software and other relevant engineering tools.
2. Develop and implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and comply with regulations.
3. Conduct grading activities to prepare sites for construction in accordance with project specifications.
4. Lead site development projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
5. Collaborate with geotechnical and environmental engineers to address soil and environmental concerns in project design and execution.
6. Manage land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
7. Design and implement shoring systems for excavation and construction projects.
8. Prepare and submit necessary documents for the Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification process.
9. Develop and maintain sewer systems, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
10. Handle permitting processes, including application, follow-up, and compliance with all conditions.
11. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is carried out according to plans and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
3. Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
4. Solid understanding of erosion control measures and grading techniques.
5. Experience in site development, including planning, design, and execution.
6. Knowledge of geotechnical and environmental engineering principles.
7. Proven experience in land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
8. Familiarity with shoring design and implementation.
9. EIT certification or the ability to obtain the certification within a specified time frame.
