SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS -
Qualified candidates for this role will have:
+ Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. college or university
+ 8–12 years of experience in site design, land development, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design and drafting software.
+ Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to scope and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing technical documents and interfacing with clients.
+ A proactive, team-oriented approach with a high level of attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Work with the team to prepare civil engineering design and obtain approval on projects ranging from retail shopping centers and restaurants, K-12 school improvements, and industrial development. This work would include site due diligence and layout, grading and utility design, and stormwater management calculations.
+ Multidisciplinary work with the larger company including survey, structural, transportation, and landscape architecture departments to provide the clients with a full suite of private development services.
+ Responsibilities also include representing the firm at meetings with client, owner, or agencies during the design and construction process.
+ Other duties as assigned
