Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to work with the in-house project team to lead and manage everyday project activities, project delivery and oversee all phases of the project from conception to construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead/manage a project team of multi-discipline professionals including architects, MEP, Geotechnical, & Structural Engineers, and Surveyors to deliver successful projects
• Prepare Site Development for Municipal Infrastructure Rehabilitation projects; Evaluate and quantify existing conditions
• Prepare site concept plans based on client expectations, and architectural sketches
• Design Storm-water Management and Detention Systems, Site Development plans, Storm-water Management and Geometric, Utility & Grading Plans
• Prepare Erosion and Sediment Control Plans in accordance with local, IEPA and NRCS requirements
• Specify and implement best management practices
• Prepare, submit and successfully obtain permits and approval letters from local, county state and federal agencies (ACOE, FEMA)
• Coordinate, write and/or edit civil engineering specifications; Oversee shop drawing approval, site visitation, construction observation and project closeouts
