Job Details
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Conduct preliminary site investigations and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
Design and prepare engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for various civil engineering projects.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive project designs.
Perform calculations and analysis related to structural design, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
Review and evaluate technical documents, including project proposals and environmental impact assessments.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Manage and oversee construction projects, including monitoring progress, resolving design issues, and coordinating with contractors.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any construction-related challenges.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address concerns.
