We are in search of a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Permanent Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role will require a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management practices, with a particular focus on engineering design, drainage, grading, stormwater, septic/sewer systems, and drainage. This position is ideal for a professional with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is eager to apply their skills to a variety of projects.

This role will require a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management practices, with a particular focus on engineering design, drainage, grading, stormwater, septic/sewer systems, and drainage. Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed engineering designs and plans, ensuring they meet technical and safety standards.
- Manage and oversee various engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other) to plan and design projects.
- Assess potential risks, materials, and costs to provide feasibility reports for each project.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure all projects adhere to the established plans and regulations.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies for managing stormwater, septic/sewer systems, and drainage.
- Coordinate with government departments and agencies regarding regulatory issues.
- Provide technical advice to managerial, supervisory, and operational staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management, engineering design, drainage, grading, stormwater, septic/sewer systems, and drainage.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from start to finish.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
