Job Details

*Engineer with Hydrology experience, HEC-RAS*
*Land Development Designer/Engineer with Hydrology experience, capable of calculating Floodplains*
*This position is mainly an office position with some field visits required. Successful candidate should have an engineering background and be proficient in the following:
  • Ability to design and draft civil engineering plans from concept to final, including public drawings, on-site drawings as well produce any corresponding supporting calculations
  • Engineering Calculations, Hydraulic Computations, Worksheets, Spreadsheets including TR-55, TR-20 and HEC-RAS
  • Coordination with clients and consultants to ensure that the design meets their needs and specifications
  • Using best practice design standards to meet jurisdictional requirements and construction codes
  • Coordination with jurisdictional representatives to facilitate reviews and advance client projects through the approval process
  • Meet project milestones and deliverables; Regularly meet with Project Manager to go over project status, identify issues/roadblocks
  • Proficiency in CAD & Civil 3D: Make surfaces, cutting cross-sections in 3D and inserting page sheet auto-numbering
  • Familiar with Public Water/Sewer Plans, Grading, Sediment Control Plans
  • Ability to perform in a fast—paced environment with quick turnaround times
