We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Civil Engineering Group Manager to lead our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and diverse projects, ranging from highways and bridges to water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the projects, including design, construction, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and diverse projects, ranging from highways and bridges to water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the projects, including design, construction, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of civil and environmental engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
- Lead the design and construction of civil engineering projects, including highways, bridges, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and site developments.
- Use Civil 3D and other advanced engineering software to create detailed designs and plans.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure that the construction is in compliance with the design plans and specifications.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project objectives are met.
- Ensure that all work is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the high quality of the work.
- Identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the project.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in civil and environmental engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and/or environmental engineering, with a focus on highways, bridges, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and site developments.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and other advanced engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including drainage, site development, and bridge design and construction.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to civil and environmental engineering.
