Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design, manage, and implement a range of environmental engineering projects, with a focus on storm drainage and stormwater management.
2. Utilize advanced software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, Infoworks, ICM, and InfoSWMM for designing and modeling.
3. Conduct hydraulic sewer calculations and cost estimates to ensure optimal project planning and execution.
4. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into overall project plans.
5. Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, outcomes, and future projections.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and environmental regulations to ensure our projects meet or exceed all standards.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, specifically in storm drainage and stormwater management.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, Infoworks, ICM, and InfoSWMM.
4. Proven experience in hydraulic sewer calculations and cost estimation.
5. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry trends.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring junior staff and leading project teams.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a knack for innovative and creative solutions.
9. A professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
