Hiring Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field or the equivalent

combination of education and professional experience.

• Minimum 5 years' experience within the field of construction.
• 2+ years of construction cost estimating experience performing takeoffs and pricing.
• General knowledge of estimating fundamentals and conceptual estimating techniques.
• Experience estimating sitework and site utility projects.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, design drawings, geotechnical reports.
• Ability to communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, executives, and individuals at all

levels of the organization.

• Ability to identify and establish goals and objectives to achieve project deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized while managing competing priorities.
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while exercising good judgement and strong problem-solving

skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information and data skillfully and reach sound

conclusions.

• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Sage/Timberline, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ISqFt or similar

programs.

• Experience in earthwork takeoff programs such as Carlson or similar programs.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver’s License.
