We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate specializing in Civil Litigation to join our prestigious legal firm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of top-tier lawyers, handling complex civil litigation matters. Our ideal candidate is a driven professional with a high degree of competence in motions, discovery, pleadings, civil litigation, and personal injury. The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a Associate, your primary responsibilities will include

• Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, from initiation to trial
• Drafting, reviewing, and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conducting discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and identifying and interviewing witnesses.
• Developing legal arguments and strategies for motions, trials, and other court proceedings.
• Advocating for clients in court, presenting evidence, and making persuasive arguments.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Admitted to California state bar
• Proven experience with motions, discovery, pleadings, and civil litigation.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and passionate about achieving positive outcomes for clients.
