Job Details

What You'll Do
  • Independently manage a caseload from assignment through resolution.
  • Develop case strategy and work directly with clients and insurance representatives.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other litigation-related filings.
  • Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
  • Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, discovery management, and exhibit organization.
  • Attend court appearances and hearings throughout California.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Active California Bar license and good standing.
  • 5-15 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Ability to independently manage litigation files and deadlines.
  • Strong deposition, discovery, motion practice, and case management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and sound professional judgment.
  • Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred.
