Our law firm is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation cases, contribute to our growing practice, and make a significant impact on the lives of our clients. The attorney will handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters, ranging from personal injury to commercial disputes. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on class action lawsuits. Florida Bar membership is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Develop case strategies, such as trying to negotiate settlements or arguing cases in court.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest legal trends, regulations, and rulings that may affect the firm's clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with experience with class action lawsuits preferred.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Experience with federal court required.
  • Proven track record of representing clients in all stages of the litigation process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents, manage multiple cases, and advocate for clients effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and a passion for making a difference.
