Job Details
Responsibilities:
Qualifications
- Analyze and evaluate medical records, depositions, and case law to strategize the defense of our clients.
- Represent clients in court, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and selecting juries.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Conduct extensive legal research to support defense strategies.
- Collaborate with medical experts to develop case theories, medical demonstrations, and reports.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of our clients, when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Law Degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in California.
- Civil litigation experience, defense ideal but not required.
- Medical malpractice experience is preferred but the firm will train as needed.
