We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on a variety of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. As the Civil Project Manager, you will be in charge of managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and estimating to execution and completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Lead the estimation process for new projects, taking into account materials, labor, and other costs.
3. Direct and oversee the execution of projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns or issues that arise.
5. Implement risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
6. Ensure that all projects are completed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
8. Manage project teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Resolve any project-related disputes or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with project estimation and budgeting.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues.
7. Proficient in project management software and other relevant technology.
8. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
10. PE certification is a plus.
