Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of municipal civil projects.
2. Manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and
within budget.
3. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and specifications.
4. Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure compliance with regulations and permits.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
6. Handle any arising issues or challenges, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all project operations.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. A Professional Engineer (PE) License.
3. A minimum of 7 years of experience within Civil Engineering.
4. Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex municipal projects.
5. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address project challenges effectively.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant technology.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
