Job Details:
Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced Civil Project Manager to join our fast-growing team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction site management, and budget management. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is also required. This position demands a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and who is eager to apply their expertise to manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure project stays on track.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Use project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spend.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction site management.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methodology and procedures.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and other project management software.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
