If so, we have a thrilling opportunity for you! We are currently in search of a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the physical aspects of our world, from buildings and bridges to highways and drainage systems.
Responsibilities:
As our Civil/Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of a wide range of projects, including buildings, bridges, and transportation systems.
2. Conducting geotechnical investigations and providing engineering analysis for complex projects.
3. Utilizing your skills in construction management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
4. Working in tandem with project managers and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Conducting site surveys, developing land, and designing roadway and drainage systems.
6. Creating detailed construction drawings and specifications.
7. Implementing stormwater management strategies and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
8. Providing expert advice on the design, planning, and management of civil construction projects.
9. Proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating risks associated with design and construction.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting role, you must have:
1. A valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
3. Proficiency in geotechnical engineering, construction management, structural engineering, and civil engineering.
4. Proven experience in project management, surveying, transportation engineering, land development, and highway design.
5. A strong understanding of drainage systems, roadway design, site development, bridge design, construction drawings, and stormwater management.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and importance.
9. A strong work ethic, with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure project success.
