We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Claims Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex claims and litigation, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. The role involves a high level of interaction with our claims team, clients, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee complex claims and litigation, providing expert advice and guidance to our claims team and clients.
2. Collaborate with the claims team to develop and implement strategies to effectively manage claims, reduce potential liability, and mitigate risks.
3. Provide legal advice on Employment Practices Liability (EPL) and employment law matters, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
4. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support claims handling and decision-making processes.
5. Represent the organization in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations related to claims and litigation.
6. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the claims team's knowledge and understanding of EPL, employment law, and litigation.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company's claims handling and litigation strategies.

Qualifications
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims handling, complex claims, EPL, employment law, and litigation.
4. Strong knowledge of employment practices liability and employment laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in managing complex claims and litigation.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
9. Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
10. Demonstrated ability to provide effective legal advice and guidance.
11. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
