We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Permanent Closing Coordinator Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who have a keen interest in the legal field and are looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and preparing all necessary documents for closings, including transcripts, closing documents, resolutions, and liaising with both state and federal departments. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the closing process, including preparing and reviewing closing documents and transcripts, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in order prior to closing.
  • Coordinate with all parties involved in the closing process, including clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with state and federal departments to ensure all legal requirements are met and all documents are properly filed.
  • Prepare and review resolutions, ensuring they are accurate and comply with all legal standards.
  • Conduct thorough legal research as needed and provide comprehensive reports to attorneys.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Stay updated with current laws and regulations related to the closing process.
  • Assist in other legal duties as assigned by the supervising attorney.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Closing Coordinator Paralegal or in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the closing process, including preparing and reviewing transcripts, closing documents, and resolutions.
  • Experience liaising with state and federal departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong research and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
