CMM Operator

My client is a global leader in blow molding technologies and the only blow molding machine manufacturer to offer four unique blow molding technologies, blow molds, and associated tooling. They want to add a CMM Operator to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs. .

Compensation Up To $30/hr

Position Summary:
The CMM Operator operates CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs. The CMM Operator documents and reports non-conforming part geometry and dimensions and performs in-process/final inspections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use engineered drawings to create programs and operate CMM equipment to measure parts per engineering specifications;
• Determine quality (pass/fail) of manufactured parts based on dimensional inspection;
• Complete and maintain detailed and accurate dimensional inspection reports and analysis of inspection data;
• Maintain quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area;
• Be responsible for the operation and upkeep of all the measuring equipment, including calibration;
