Job Details
· The CMM Programmer is responsible for generating and proving out CMM programs for Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and
Metris CMMs to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components. This includes
· Set up and prove out created or modified programs using provided fixtures, models, and work instructions.
· Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure compliance with customer
specifications.
· Review and interpret CMM results, identify potential nonconformances, and escalate issues appropriately.
· Maintain and organize CMM programs and related documentation, as well as troubleshoot inspection issues
and supporting root cause analysis efforts for dimensional discrepancies.
· Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel to resolve measurement-related
challenges and improve process flow.
· May also train other inspection personnel on
Metris CMMs to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components. This includes
