We have a thrilling opportunity for a dedicated CNC Lathe Machinist in the dynamic Manufacturing industry. As a Permanent CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be an integral part of our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. This role is a perfect fit for anyone with a keen eye for detail, a hands-on approach, and a strong understanding of machine set-up and lathe operation. With a requirement of 5+ years of experience, this position offers an exciting platform to apply your skills and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging. They include but are not limited to:

1. Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
2. Translating engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
3. Ensuring the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
4. Overseeing the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
5. Checking machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
6. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
7. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and plans.
8. Adhering to all safety and health regulations.
9. Communicating logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
10. Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and serviced to keep it in good working order.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Proficient understanding of CNC programming and ability to troubleshoot issues.
3. Strong knowledge of machine set-up and operation.
4. Excellent skills in reading and interpreting blueprints.
5. Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
6. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach is preferred.
7. Excellent comprehension of the properties of metal and other material.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to think critically.
10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
