CNC Machinist (1st Shift)

The successful candidate will be responsible for setup and operation various machine tools to produce quality parts in an efficient manner. Proficient in different controls and machines including Mori-Seiki, Haas, and Fanuc.

JOB DUTIES:

• Setup & Operate CNC machines changing cutting tools, adjusting offsets to produce conforming parts.
• Follow management instructions and production procedures.
• Inspect parts looking for discrepancies and blemishes. Report & tag discrepancies and not pass on a nonconforming part
• Work efficiently as to run multiple machines at once.
• Ability to recommend and select cutting tools and work holdings.
• Maintain a clean work area
• Fill machine fluids as required.
• Work in a safe manner using proper PPE's (Personal Protective Equipment) and report safety issues or injuries to lead person.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with operation of 3 Axis & 5 Axis CNC mills.
• Lathe experience preferred
• Working knowledge of GD&T Methodology and experience with tight tolerance parts a plus
• Familiarity in machining various grades of aluminum, titanium and steels to close tolerances a plus.
