Job Details

As a CNC Setup Machinist & Programmer, you’ll play a key role in both hands-on machining and programming responsibilities. You’ll work directly with advanced CNC equipment to produce precision components while ensuring setups and programs meet strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and program CNC lathes and mills, including Mazak, Mori Seki, and Doosan platforms.

Operate machines to produce components that meet tight tolerances and customer requirements.

Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.

Select tooling, design custom fixtures, and develop setup sheets for repeatability.

Use precision inspection tools (micrometers, bore gages, comparators, depth micrometers) to verify accuracy.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times.

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC setup and programming experience (lathe and mill).

Proficiency in G & M codes and experience with CAM software (Mastercam/Esprit a plus).

Strong inspection and measurement skills with GD&T knowledge.

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
