Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise, high-quality parts.
- Programming CNC machines for automated production.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Setting up machines and equipment, including tooling and fixtures, for specific job runs.
- Fabricating metal components according to specifications.
- Utilizing CAM software to streamline and optimize production processes.
- Conducting regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of production.
- Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and precision measurement.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
- Familiarity with machine set-up and metal fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in using CAM software.
- Experience in tooling and fixtures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
