Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup: Prepare and set up CNC machines including mills, lathes, or routers by loading appropriate tools, inputting program codes, and ensuring machine readiness for production.
  • Programming and Operation: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to program CNC machines. Operate machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, milling, or grinding to produce precision parts within specified tolerances.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks using precision measurement tools to verify conformance of finished products to quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine operations, maintenance, and production activities. Complete necessary paperwork and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with GibbsCAM.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools and quality control processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery and perform routine maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or related field.
  • Certifications in CNC programming or operation.
  • Experience with specific software or machinery relevant to the company’s operations.
